The Clarence Hotel located in the heart of Seneca Falls is just steps from the all the important sites in the village: The Women’s Rights National Historical Park, National Women’s Hall of Fame, It’s a Wonderful Life Museum, the IDEA Center for the Voices of Humanity, and the Cayuga-Seneca Canal.
Taking its inspiration from the film, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the recently renovated Clarence Hotel is named in honor of the angel in the classic holiday film. It recalls a time gone by and emphasizes the value of every human being.
The chic boutique hotel has 48 uniquely decorated rooms, free internet, a large comfy bar, and a wonderfully Devine Restaurant serving contemporary American fare.
The film “It’s a Wonderful Life” is shown on the wall in the lobby where guests will recognize the iconic bridge from the film as the one that is located over the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and can be seen from the front of the hotel. Much of the film draws from images of Seneca Falls. Located in the heart of Central New York, staying at The Clarence Hotel and touring Seneca Falls is all part of making “It’s a Wonderful Life” a reality.
